These are not architectural documents. They are emotional studies — the atmosphere that remains once conversation fades. The tension between presence and departure. The weight of something just missed.
Searching for abandoned and transitional spaces has become a quiet discipline within my practice. Not for spectacle or decay, but for immersion — for stepping into places where time feels suspended. In these environments I work slowly, absorbing light, texture and stillness, translating that residue into image. That quality of looking slowly is what separates observation from encounter.
This collection sits beside urban isolation and Sanctum of Shadows, yet speaks in a more intimate register. Domestic, devotional and transitional interiors replace monumental scale. The drama is quieter — but no less present.
Some rooms hold a silence that was never really empty — a one-sided conversation that continued for years after it should have ended, as I found in The Room That Kept Waiting, where a photograph was propped at the foot of a bed, still facing the man who couldn't move it.
