The Blue Vestibule
Some interiors do not invite you in — they hold you at a measured distance. This stairwell becomes a chamber of restraint: dark timber, strict symmetry, and a single figure caught beneath a pale opening above.
The statue does not perform. It simply exists, quiet and exposed, as if placed there to test what you do with stillness. The blue tone is not decoration; it is atmosphere — the feeling of a space that has learned to contain its own silence.
This work sits within my *fine art blog* practice, where individual images act as focused studies — small, deliberate pieces of a larger reflection on interior presence and the psychology of quiet.
