The Cabin That Surrendered
This structure is no longer standing so much as yielding. The roof sags under the quiet weight of seasons, and the walls begin to tilt as if the land has finally reclaimed the argument.
I’m drawn to places like this because they show time doing its real work — not dramatic ruin, but patient absorption. Timber dulls, glass clouds, moss holds the edges, and what was once purposeful becomes simply present.
This work sits within my fine art blog practice, where each image is treated as a focused study — one paragraph in a longer reflection on abandonment, weather, and the dignity of quiet collapse.
