The Antechamber
A place of quiet preparation, where works are held before their release.

This collection forms part of an ongoing body of fine art photographic prints by Michael Gane, focused on atmosphere, architectural presence, and the quiet psychology of space. The works are produced as museum-grade acrylic prints, presented in limited editions, with a standard format of 30 × 20 inches, alongside selected larger architectural-scale works. Each print is issued with a certificate of authenticity and is available through private enquiry.
The Antechamber is a private working space within the Michael Gane Fine Art archive — a place where images rest before they are released into the wider collections.
These works are not studies or drafts. They are completed photographs, held back intentionally to allow time, distance, and clarity. Some will later form part of established collections; others may remain here indefinitely, unseen.
This gallery exists to preserve restraint.
To slow the process.
And to ensure that only images fully aligned with the wider artistic world are brought forward.
Nothing here is rushed.
Nothing here is accidental.
